“ Consistently fantastic meals regardless of what we order. We have kept returning to Zythos for years. We have become partial to ordering meals with lamb because they are awesome. Prices are reasonable and always friendly service. Their private party room is a long covered and enclosed patio space. And, of course it's all topped off with the little ouzo or cinnamon candies. ”

“ The Athena Prawns is my favorite item on their menu—at least, in theory. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced two very different versions of it. The first time I ordered it, the dish had a rich, creamy texture and deep, flavorful taste that really stood out. However, the next two times, that creaminess and richness were missing, and the overall flavor was much more average. I really hope the dish becomes more consistent, as that original version was truly exceptional. On a positive note, the ekmek and baklava are must-tries. Both are far superior to versions I’ve had at other places—absolutely worth ordering. Some mellow greek music subtly playing would be great for the ambiance.not loud to keep conversations easy. ”

“ Are we in 2025 or in 1975? I have gotten used to restaurants like Cactus and Brown’s that seem to be the normal standard these days. After a negative experience at one of the bigger local chain restaurants I decided to try Zythos. Going out for a meal shouldn’t be normal or standard, it should be a DINING EXPERIENCE. Step back in time to when restaurants cared about quality, portions and the dining experience. Zythos offered me an exceptional dining experience the first time I went there, and the three times I have gone back it has been amazing. On one occasion a man stopped by our table to chat with us and told us about a dish we were eating and where he got the recipe from and why he was using it. It turns out it was the owner who also works in the kitchen! He was so happy that we appreciated his traditional food and we felt welcome and special. With the popular chains like Browns and Cactus it is very obvious it is a business that is there to make money. This little Greek restaurant seems to only care about the quality of food and your enjoyment of it. Thank you Zythos for reminding me what a dining experience should be, I will be back very soon! ”

“ First time trying this restaurant and it was to celebrate a birthday. We ordered some appies and for mains, our table had dishes with each protein so we could try them all! Lamb, prawns, chicken, and beef. All were super tasty. Came with a huge serving of salad for each person. Our server was friendly and helped made it feel like a special dinner at the end to wrap up the dine in experience on a high note. The PLUS was all their meats that night had the option for Halal available!! Such a bonus! Will be coming back! Great portions, well made, nicely decorated and clean inside, and good service! PS!! I forgot to take pics of half the dishes! We all dug in too fast! ”

“ we spent our Valentine’s day evening at Zythos! it was our first time visiting and it was perfect. considering how stressful the holiday can be for service workers, our server (a young girl I can’t remember the name of) was so lovely and made the evening feel very special. the food was DELICIOUS— most tender & delicious roast lamb I’ve ever had. safe to say I have a new favourite spot for greek in town! I only wish I had visited sooner. a reminder to everyone to support the small local restaurants! especially these days ”
